Items needed:
1 Deck of Cards - $2.00
1 Can of Clearcoat (Clear Acrylic Spraypaint) - $1.00
Old Newspaper
Tip: You can rough all of the cards at once by laying all 52 out when you do this,
but I would strongly suggest you stick to about 10 cards at a time - trying to do too
many at once could result in some cards not getting enough spray....
I would also suggest doing this about an hour before you go to bed....You'll see why....
Steps:
1). Go outdoors or somewhere safe to use the clearcoat (don't do it in your house -
the fumes will mess you up and stink up the place).
2). Choose how many cards you are going to do at a time - I suggest 10 to 12 cards.
3). Lay these cards face down on the newspaper one card at a time.
4). Shake your clearcoat for about 20 seconds.
5). Give a light but even mist of clearcoat to the backs of the cards on the newspaper.
I would suggest holding the can about 2 to 2 1/2 feet away and moving in fairly fast
but even strokes.
6). Let them dry for 2 minutes, then repeat.
7). Allow them to dry for 2 more minutes then repeat one more time.
8). After your 3rd coat is dry then lay out 10 - 12 new cards and do them the same way.....
9). Once you have clearcoated the entire deck, find a safe place in your house to lay
them out to dry thoroughly. A kitchen table or coffee table is good for this. Lay your
cards down (don't stack them!) one at a time.
10). This is why I said earlier to do this at night before you go to bed: Let your cards
sit undisturbed for 8 to 10 hours to allow them to dry thoroughly

later i put how to STACKING the deck
