my new trick

i've been playin around with an idea for a little while now and i've come up with a pretty decent effect that requires no gimmicks, no duplicates and hardly any sleight of hand, but also gives maximum impact.

a card is selected and signed if u want to (for all those that just have to have a card signed) and is very cleenly placed inside the card box, the box is closed and placed down on the table. at this point u have not seen the face of the card and really have no idea what it is nor do u touch the box at all from this point on.
you then "read the spectators mind" and take out the other 3 cards that match the selection eg the other 3 kings. and hand them to the spectator to hold, with a click of the fingers u show the box empty and ask the spectator to fan the cards. they find there is a face down card inbetween the 3 other cards and it is their selected and signed card.

method 2
after placin the box down u spread the cards face up and find there is a face down card which is turned over and shown to b the selection, the box is then opened to reveal it is empty

i'll post a vid up shortly just wanted to see what u guys think of the description. lol

i figured it out when you "put the card in the box" you didn't really you shoved it into the deck and the deck was upside down so the card was upsidedown in the middle of the deck, am i right? lol

ok to put a few minds at ease, there is no slit in the bottom of the box and also the selected and signed card really does go in the box and can b seen in the box right up untill the flap is closed and then placed on the table.
