Pretty strong. I just got one and accidently let if grab on to a metal plate under my table. I almost didn't get it off. It can pinch pretty hard as well.

I think the M5 is OK. Not great, not crappy, but it's ok...
I got it stuck to a metal tray, had to slide it of the edge shove a book under, and pry it up...but man is that thing strong.

A pawn shop from a Japanese guy with a story of it being cursed...o.o
I got some kickarse magnets for my shoes before, 250 lbs. of pull...they snaped in half cause i put one on one side of a wall, and one on the other, and i tried to get them off, by sliding them both towards me at the same time, and they like snapped in half and sparked...it was pretty coolio...xD
