Traum, when the string breaks in your ITR, how do you get more out?

ok to fix an itr, basically it has 2 holes where the thread comes out of (obviously it only comes out of 1)
u basically need to suck/blow the thread out of one of those holes, it takes a little while to get the nack of doin it but after a while it gets easier
if u really cant do that, the other way to do it is to take the stoppers off both ends and take it apart, then literally thread the IT down the reel and out the hole usein a needle or anythin similar. then put it back together. this is pretty fiddly tho.
ITR are deffinatly worth the money, just think of all the things u can do with an ordinary length of IT. such has haunted deck. there is no risk of the line gettin caught as u walk around from table to table as there is no exposed thread and when ur done it just springs back inside the reel, no evidence left. lol

But Traum, My ITR is in worse condition, like the elastic thingy broke, does that mean that the itr is useless, coz i've been using it for the thread, since i can't use it anymore, and the thread is pretty strong...
So what do i do to fix it?

i have a spider pen, but it's kinda gay... i'd rather have a normal itr. like the one that penguin sells or the ones that james lee sell's. traum thanks for that hint of encouragement, now im gonna HAVE to get one definately :D

i got an ITR with the trick spooked by nicholas einhorn which is a fantastic haunted deck effect based on an ITR, you can stand a few feet back from the deck as you perform and you start and end clean.

thats the trick i perform, it really gets people,..........and if ur elastic breaks then ur pretty stuck. u could always try a normal elastic band cut up to use. other than that i'm not sure what u can do

the itr uses standard invisable thread, and "the infinity" is an elastic thread that you can use to tie loops...among other things. both have there good points but if you dont have a lot of experience using thread then i'd say get the itr.
the infinity thread is what justin miller uses for "cloak" which is just a very clever hook-up and a few really neat tricks you can do with it.

can u use the ITR close up or outside???
magick

close-up is just what its for...outside. well, that depends on the lighting conditions.
