Hey, I know this thread may seem pointless, but I was wondering if you had ever got strange theories of how you do tricks from other people???
Do you ever get really complex theories, I am not talking about jokes like saying "You're a witch" or "You're the devil" but like really wierd when its really just a pinky break or something.
The other day I was doing the floating piece of paper, where you connect invisible thread to something and people kept saying that it was electrostatic (which I said it was) and people honestly thought that I had some awesome technology, even though one of the guys actually touched the invisible thread and still thought it was static electricity. But this was mainly because I made them think that.
But have you ever had strange theories by laymen, or really complex or have they actually figured it out (like my 7 year old cousin figured out my pen through note) or just plain dumb ideas???

nah. my friends and family members dont bother thinking of a scientific and complex solution for my tricks.

no, but one time a kid who couldn't figure out the thing with the thumb tip and silk, went and talked to another kid who does magic and he told him what it was so next time he saw me he frisked me and found it in my pocket and was all proud that he had figured it out.

lol, he has issues for frisking you for a thumb tip.............

well, the best i've gotten was WTF THATS CRAZY nothing like are you god or anything,the only thing is this little kid said to me "your magical!" thats it though

one time when i did cough cough i told people when they wernt looking i stuck the card up my butt and there was a method for geting things to go though your butt through your intestins into your mouth and then you spit it out

hahahaha yea well after like 30 secounds they relized it was stupid but they did beleave me for a bit




also to other people when they asked how i could read minds i said "i have an extreamly smart parrot with good haring thats only an inch tall so when you wisper the # to people my parrot hears you and tells me the #" lol

Haha! That would be funny. Yea, it be even more funnier if people tried it, but wouldn't be funny if the card got stuck and cut their intestines and had to go to hospital and then have their appendix explode, and then sue you.
But still it's kinda funny.
