Default Starting Out in Card Magic

Hey Everyone. Hope this is the right forum area to post.

My first post and I thought I'd ask a question of you knowledgable people on here.

I've always had an interest in card dexterity and about 6 months ago I bought the whole 8 volumes of Daryls Card Sleight encyclopedia. I found it fantastic and for the first months I just watched them over and over. I concentrated on a a few moves and got fairly good at them, and then moved onto other moves.

Recently I bought Steve Forte's GPS which is also amazing. Although it isn't really a teaching DVD it did give me the push to really, really practice and learn the sleights.

Does anybody else here practice card sleights to this level? I saw some trailers from Ian Kendall and they look really good too.

Any recommendations on other DVD's to buy (or trade???).

Thanks in anticipation... This site looks fantastic. I'll be a regular visitor.

Well some of the dvd's that are really helpful are dan and dave buck's trilogy. it has tricks, flourishes, andthensome(that was from their ad) but seriously though it's great. if you want to get into xcm i've heard good things about de'vo and his stuff. though i've heard that he doesn't have him talking it's like pop ups. But i hoped i've helped and welcome to the site( i feel like a mod-wanna-be. lol)

Cheers for the information

I'll have a look at those DVD's and see what I can get from them. I'm' not sure if XCM is my bag, but you never know.

Thanks again
