when ever i do the first penetration where you slightly tug on the band the bill just fops off the bands and flies to the floor?
any tips?

hook it so if it where to drop vertical it'll catch.

If that's not the problem then you can always make the space between top and bottom smaller that way you cannot miss.

If not then you can always try tugging softer?

Or just tilt the upper band a bit toardwards yuorself so the lower end is away from you (just a bit) that way it will have to fall on the second on.

by the sounds of it ur not settin it up correctly.

u have got the bill hooked on the top strand of the band and one side of the bill is goin thru the 2 strands of the band

effectivly what u are doin is actually placein the bottom strand of the band is goin thru the middle of the folded bill......its then pulled up and then usein the little hook u hook it onto the top strand. - of course thats not how u actually set it up but thats essentially what ur doin. so that when u flick the rubber band it falls off the top strand and falls down onto the bottom strand

Well, it does get annoying.....
