Default how does bill tube work?

i've been wondering how this gimmick worked... and i cant seem to figure out how the bill gets slipped in, i've seen the tube in person, and i've observed it with my hands, but i jsut couldnt seem to find out the way it works.



and for those who dont kno, the bill could be signed.

It's a good close up effect...I'm sorry though...I don't know the answer to this one. I assume it goes into the bottom of the tube somehow.

my best guess is a hole in the bottom that a tightly folded bill could fit through, but once it's let go and expands, it stays
