A binaural beat is a sound frequency that matches the same brain-wave frequencies that your brain uses for it’s state of consciousness. In doing so, it sends a different tone on the same frequency into each ear at the same time, synchronizing your brain-waves and altering your consciousness. Note: Just passively listening to binaural beats does not necessarily alter your state of consciousness.
